My dog has chewed off flea collars and medical cones. He can destroy anything. This stayed on him for over 2 weeks while a hot spot on his face healed and he didn’t like it at first but instead of crating him while I was out I left him loose hoping he wouldn’t be tempted too much to destroy this thing. He didn’t destroy it! and I think it was very comfortable for him too, way better than a scratchy or sharp edged plastic cone. Also super easy to clean, you just need to deflate it a little to take off the cover and I washed/dried it every other day no problem. Only thing is you gotta blow it up with your mouth which grossed me out a little Bc germs and stuff but I just swabbed with rubbing alcohol. Super pleased with this thing.

Works but my dog still found ways to scratch his face. *facepalm* Not saying this was a bad product to start with as I have heard a LOT of friends suggest this over the traditional cone my dog was given by the vet after his eye surgery. I waited until the last couple of days to use this on him as I had a gut feeling that my smart-elick of a dog would find ways to get to his face. Less than 10 minutes after putting it on him, he decided to walk to to a doorway and start scratching his nose. Can't always win with these furry children. lol

I purchased this for my pup who just got spayed. I was hoping not to need it, but that was not he case. She has worn it the last 4 days and although she rejoices when I remove it for a bit, it isn’t hindering her from sleeping in her normal positions or anything. She is a jack russell/beagle/lab mix and I got a medium. I should have gotten the large but the medium works well enough. The two ends don’t touch, there is roughly 2 inches open but I put that towards her back and it works just fine as the Velcro’s keeps it from coming off. One thing to note is that the cover holds onto hair like crazy so I use a lint roller every time I remove it. For the price I don’t think you can beat it, especially if the cones are too heavy or awkward for your dog.

My dog has been wearing it for about a week now and doesn’t seem as sad when he has to wear the plastic cone of shame. He can still reach his butt however it definitely deterred him from have the constant chewing. His spot has healed and just waiting for his hair to start growing before taking it off. I will def reuse this again. Great purchase and easy for my blind and deaf dog to get around.

Thank you... The large is just what she needed. She' s a lab pup. long nose and Torso.. But she's no match for the lg. No licking stitches... LG comfort cone was the right size and did the job!

My DayZee Mae has severe allergies......food allergies....environmental allergies. When her allergies kick in we have to put her in one of those hard, plastic cones from the vet. I kept thinking there had to be SOMETHING better out there. She was walking into walls...and hitting it against things. :( So I found this inflatateable cone. I am so glad I did!!!!! She can even reach her food and water with it on...but no chewing or biting. THANK YOU for this. My baby girl doesn't even mind having it on.

This ring kept her from scratching her wounds, and would have made biting at anything on her rear end impossible as well. I took it off and brushed off the fabric, which was soft and comforting like her favorite blankie and didn't pull at all.
